Top Local Model began the "pin-up" Calendar
program over a year ago. Not every model is offered and no there
are no "sign-ups". We get emails everyday asking where to sign up.
Models are selected usually during the interview process for an upcoming
issue. It is an opportunity not a requirement. The reason we
started the program was to defray operation costs and to get models
exposure. The models get paid usually 30% of the revenue of their
respective calendar sales.
Most of the time it is the first "project" that the model has ever been
the only subject. It also allows models with limited experience to
see what a production project is all about. Plenty of the "I have
always dreamed of being a model" decide it is not for them for a
multitude of reasons. Others once involved feel that's exactly
what they want. Some love the popularity so much they have even
started their own fan club web site. We are not going to make you
a star overnight but you will get in print. The model can be as
reveling as they desire as long as it stays within our publisher rules
of "No Nudity" and there is no tolerance. Most of the models
have a blast with it and enjoy the experience as well as get a calendar
to add to their portfolio.
Some FAQ's
- Where do you shoot the Calendar?
We have shot calendars in studios, body shops, garages, hotels, even
one on the roof of a building.
- I don't want to shoot in lingerie I am not ready
for that!
We get younger models not interested in lingerie that is fine,
"Pin-up" does not require lingerie.
- I have never done this and would like to
bring: Sister, friend, ect!
We prefer that you bring an escort to shoots its being safe even if
you are shooting with me! you don't know me.

love the Calendars but I don't know if I can pull some of that off!
It is our job it make the calendar composition a success,
we will!
- Who will be the photographer?
It depends on your geographic location
- What is the contract for the Calendar?
The only contract you sign is one allowing us to create the calendar.
- Do I get the photos from the Calendar?
Yes, in a DVD/CD format 90 days after the Calendar is released
- I have heard about programs where I have to
sell so many calendars or I have to pay you?
We have heard of that too, we do not do business like that you do
not pay us for anything.
- Who supplies the wardrobe?
It is usually a "joint" effort between TLM and you
- I want to do this but my boyfriend don't
want me too!
We don't deal with boyfriends no offense that is your problem!
Fathers yes, we have even shot lingerie with dad
present. I do not blame any father/mother for being concerned
of his child's safety and welcome them.
(Even if you are 30 you are still someone's child)
- Ok, how do I get paid?
Everything is paid via PayPal on a quarterly basis.
- I don't have a PayPal account.
Ok, Get one, that is the only way we pay out.
- Ok, I shot this Calendar now I don't want it to
go to print
Once we have invested the money/time in the calendar it is going to
print unless you want to reimburse us for any costs.
- I am 17 and want to get into modeling am I
eligible to do a Calendar?
Yes, but it will not be a Pin Up Calendar!
- How much will I make from the Calendar?
It all depends, sexy sells and depending on what time during the
year it is and so on, winter time the calendars sell the best.
- I shot a calendar a year ago, can I do another
one?
Yes, if we have the assets available.
We reserve the right to remove any merchandise
under the "Top Local Model" brand name for any reason at any time
from any merchant or reseller.
